Little Angels Nursery is also registered with SCSWIS.  This means that checks will be carried out on all staff, as well as the building, to ensure that both are suitable for the care of children.  The SCSWIS also carry out annual inspections of the nursery to ensure we are continuing to provide a safe and suitable environment for children.
There are also strict guidelines regarding the staff to children ratio, these are:

2-3 years, one member of staff to every five children
3-5 years, one member of staff to every eight children
Little Angels Nursery also operates a key worker system, where a member of staff will have a set group of children to care for.  The will keep a record of all the children’s development and report back to their parents.
How will I know how my child is getting on?
All parents will have the opportunity to talk to their child’s key worker at the beginning and/or end of the day.  Each child will have a daily diary that will include your child’s daily activities, what your child has eaten and when and how long they have slept for.  The diaries are also used for parents to inform staff of any information for example if your child has received medication before attending.
